The Energy Footprint Tool (EFT) is one of the tools that we have developed to monitor our progress. The Energy Footprint Tool is an easy-to-complete online tool that, once you enter the information in your utility bills, calculates the amount of carbon “the caron footprint” each building produced over the previous calendar year - based on the heating and lighting use of your building(s).The Energy Footprint Tool will help you understand where you are starting from – your carbon baseline – and how much progress you are making. To access to the Energy Footprint Tool, you will need to register first, before you can enter data. You will need a unique password that can be obtained either from your Local Ministry Lead or the Diocesan Office. You will also need all the data contained in last year’s energy bills. The online tool can be found here: Energy Toolkit (parishreturns.info)Information on how to complete the Energy Footprint Tool can be found here: Information SheetAs you have offered to trial the tool if you have any comments or questions on the use of the tool or the accompanying information brief, please email: juliaedwards@churchinwales.org.ukThank you very much for being willing to trial the tool and we hope you find the information that the Energy Footprint Tool produces useful!
