Title: All About HeavenAuthor – David OliverPublisher – Malcolm Down Publishing, 2019, 2024ISBN – 978-1-912863-24-2Price: £10A very enlightening book! This is a short but a powerful tool. It explains so much and leaves the reader wanting to know and understand more about Heaven. This book is partly about David Oliver’s son who died from cancer at the age of 38. It also goes into all about heaven, that he explored after his son died. The book asks the question that we all ask ourselves - what happens when we die? And furthermore we have all had relatives that have died and most of us do believe that when our relatives or friends die, they go to heaven. All About Heaven gives an excellent overview of how heaven is described in scripture. It recounts some inspiring personal testimonies from near-death experiences and gives us a clearer view of what present heaven is like.Having lost my father recently, I have found great comfort in this book. Although I grieved deeply when my father died, the grief which I feel at the loss of my father is far more intense. My grief comes in waves, so the last chapter "Good Grief " spoke to my soul.Like David Oliver, I have wondered what my loved one is doing now. This book is so uplifting as it is based fully upon the Word of God and makes me realise again that "I shall (only) be satisfied when I awake with His likeness." I would encourage everyone to read this book and let the truths of Scripture speak to your heart .It is also a great book to read. It is very interesting from beginning to end. Anyone interested in Heaven and getting closer to Jesus will enjoy it and it would be great for book clubs as it will most certainly open up a conversation of different people’s points of view on Heaven.Shirley Murphy
