A time for young families to explore the themes of new beginnings. The session ends with making an Easter Garden to take home. The Close, next to the Canonry, SA62 6PEEaster Egg Hunt: Monday 1st April 11-1pm & 2-3pmHow many places is it possible to hide an Easter Egg in the Cathedral? Come and find out! Join us for a session of fun for all the family. Pick up a leaflet and begin the hunt. A chocolate surprise available at the end! £1 per child (accompanying adults free)Peace Vigil: Wednesday 3rd April 8pmThe Island of Ireland Peace Choir will lead us in singing Taizé songs for peace around the world. Held in a candlelit cathedral nave.Friday Pilgrimage: Friday 5th April, 31st May then every Friday June-November 10am-12.30pmVisit the birthplace of St. David, hear stories and reflections and view the ancient ruins as you walk a route from the coastal path to the Cathedral. This is a short, guided walk (1½ miles) taking the field route to St. Non’s Chapel ruins and Holy Well before reaching the Cathedral. Join us at Oriel y Parc Information Centre. We finish our journey at the Cathedral where participants may like to stay for prayers at the Shrine of St David at 12 noon. £5 on the dayQuiet Garden: Thursday 11th April, 2-3.30pmOur first Quiet Garden Session will be exploring how flowering plants can inspire our thoughts and theology. Using plants from an Easter garden, with poems, prayers and silence.Time to rest, reflect and receive. Held in Erw Dewi Community Garden next to the Canonry.Cathedrals@Night Date: 11th May 8-10.30pmJoin cathedral life at night, as across Britain and Europe we celebrate these extraordinary buildings. A mix of cultural, heritage and spiritual activities linked to an exhibition by Diana Hoare Creation.’ Art, music, talks and tours, fun and food, labyrinth and lantern walk and lots of candles.Special Creation Pilgrimage Day Tuesday 11th June 10am – 4pmJoin us during Pembrokeshire’s Great Big Green Week. We will guide you on a circular eight-mile route along mostly uneven and moderately difficult inland footpaths and the Pembrokeshire National Coastpath. Bring a picnic and enjoy time walking with others and hearing the stories and prayers concerning this part of God's Creation. £10 for the day
