Pobl Dewi: March 2024
“I pledge myself to you”
The enthronement of Rt Revd Dorrien Davies on February 3rd completes the process of choosing and installing the next Bishop of St Davids.
Daily with God
The Church in Wales has published a new, easy-to-use prayer manual to help and encourage people in their prayer lives. It was published on St David’s Day, and launched at the National Prayer Breakfast at the Senedd on March 7.
The manual includes simple versions of Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Night Prayer, as well as several classic prayers, well-loved in the Anglican tradition, and from the Welsh spiritual tradition.

Signs of care...not neglect!
By popular request, Caring for God’s Acre has produced some signs for churchwardens to use in their churchyards. They are designed to go next to areas that are being left to grow long and flowery – and therefore bio-diverse - in the summer months.
However, it is important to inform visitors why we are leaving the grass to grow to prevent any unnecessary concern. They need to know that it's about active management – not neglect!
There are six signs to choose from, in English and English/Welsh. To access them, ready to print off, people need to visit the webpage below and name their churchyard. This helps CfGA track where great work is taking place!
