Welcome to the Diocese of St Davids, named after Wales’ patron saint whose cathedral on the far west peninsula, is one of the jewels of the nation.

The Diocese covers the three counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire; stretching from beyond Aberystwyth in the north, to Llanelli in the south east.

With a mix of rural, urban, and coastal communities, the Diocese may be diverse in its geography, but is fully inclusive in its mission and approach.

The Diocese is divided into three archdeaconries which broadly mirror the county boundaries.

Within each Archdeaconry are a number of Local Ministry Areas - which sees clusters of churches coming together across defined geographic boundaries.

Each of these has an LMA Dean, to oversee these areas, and then they collectively, are presided over by an Archdeacon, senior clergy who advise and report to the Bishop on matters concerning their area:
