New Archdeacon of Carmarthen
Revd Dr Matthew Hill is to be the next Archdeacon of Carmarthen.
Archdeacon Matthew succeeds Rt Revd Dorrien Davies, who was elected as Bishop of St Davids in October.
Ordained in 1997, he has held a number of senior posts in St Davids Diocese, most recently as LMA Dean in the ministry area of Bro Caerfyrddin. Previously, he served as Priest-in-Charge of Llanfihangel Ystrad and Cilcennin with Trefilan and Nantcwnlle.
He takes up his new role with immediate effect and will be formally licensed in February.
