Impact 242 Centres of Mission to close
The Diocese of St Davids has announced the closure of its Centres of Mission this year, marking a significant change in its mission strategy.
The Church Army has been in partnership with the diocese for the Centres of Mission in Llanelli, Cross Hands and Haverfordwest. These Centres of Mission are known within the Church in Wales as Impact 242 and they have been partly funded by the diocese, the Church in Wales and by Church Army.
The Llanelli Centre of Mission has been non-operational and unstaffed. This summer will see the closure of the Cross Hands and Haverfordwest Centres as well.
The diocese and Church Army are thankful for the staff and evangelists at the Centres and the work that they have done. The new churches that have been formed will now remain within the diocese as part of the Church in Wales. Please do pray for each of the staff members at this time of change.
