Friday Pilgrimages: Date: Every Friday from 31st May – 1st Nov; 10.30 am-12.30 pm Visit the birthplace of St. David, hear stories and reflections and view the ancient ruins as you walk a route from the coast path to the Cathedral. This is a short, guided walk (1½ miles) to St. Non’s Chapel ruins and Holy Well before reaching the Cathedral. Join us at Oriel y Parc Information Centre. Our journey ends at the Cathedral where participants may like to stay for prayers at the Shrine of St David at 12 noon. £5ppWalk of Celebration: Date: Tues 11 June; 10am – 4pmJoin us for a seven-mile pilgrimage to the Cathedral, celebrating all that is good about creation on the peninsula. There will be time to hear some eco-stories and share poetry from by Eliza Lawrence, with prayers and music. £10ppPride of Place Exhibition & Coffee Morning Date: Thurs 4th Jul; 10-12pm at Tŷ’r PererinThis is the culmination of a project between Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi and students in Lesotho. It showcases artwork reflecting on all that brings people together. Come and meet the students on tour.Cathedral Explorer Date: July – September, 11-12.30 & 1.30-3pm (check website for weekly updates) A guided interactive cathedral trail suitable for children aged 5-11 with their families. Explore the cathedral, listen to the stories, make a memento to take back home with you. £10 per familyFamily Activities in Erw Dewi: Dates: Tues 23rd Jul; Tues 13th Aug; 2-3pmJoin us in the Community Garden (The Close, next to the Canonry, St Davids, SA62 6PE) for a host of activities with different themes each month.The Big Family Pilgrimage: Date: Thurs 15thAug; 10am – 4pmJoin us for a fun-filled pilgrimage to St Davids Cathedral via beach, valley and hilltop. There will be time to play games, hear stories and share a picnic (please bring with you) £10 per family.Pilgrimage to the Edge: Date: Fri 27th Sept; 10am – 4pmA journey, with the help of public transport, to four points on the peninsula to hear stories, poems and prayers reflecting the diversity and sanctity of this part of Wales.
