In April there will be three performances of the Passion production, bought to us by the LAMPS theatre company - on the 14th April at All Saints Church Ammanford, on the 15th April at the church of the Holy Spirit, Hakin, and on the 16th in St Mikes, Aberystwyth. Tickets can be found on the events page of the website.
There have already been several small online training events to help you with your CYF work, including Canva online graphics training and an online consultation on what schools training you might need.
There are online training events for Lego church, prayer spaces in schools, school engagement and collective worship, wild church, Padlet training and so much more. For more information about training and other resources please either check out the website or facebook pages.
In May, there will be three children’s festivals, the booking forms will be going out just after the February half term. These events are for schools, and will bring together the theme of peace with the RVE curriculum in a range of activities that will engage the children and help them to understand more about the Gospel and about Jesus. This series of events is an extension of the Ascension day festival that has historically been held in the Cathedral. This year however, we are moving away from that model and providing the event in all three archdeaconries. We need volunteers to make these events a success, so if you are available to help on the 14th, 19th or 20th May please be in touch, sophiewhitmarsh@cinw.org.uk.
In June, there will be a Future Generations Conference in the 14th. This is all about those working in church and voluntary sector agencies and organisations, coming together, sharing best practice, networking and finding out how we can support one another in the work we are doing, whilst highlighting some of the key issues our young people are facing and establishing a plan for moving forward.
In August we will be having the annual Youth Pilgrimage to St Davids. The booking forms have already been translated and sent out, and are now available on the website.
