Help is at hand

The Diocesan Board of Finance has updated the packages of grants available to both individual churches and LMAs for next year

Children, Youth and Family Grant

This grant is up to a £1,000 for growth of the church. Applicants should discuss their proposal with Revd Sophie Whitmarsh, Children’s Missioner, before submitting their application.

Dates for CYF meetings 2024 are: Tuesday February 6th, Tuesday May 21st,Wednesday September 11th, Wednesday December 4th

Churches Repair Grant

This grant is for Church repairs. Amounts are also available for Net Zero Projects: Individual church grants are worth up to £7,500, others up to £3,000

Dates for CPC meetings are: Wednesday March 20th,Thursday June 20th,Thursday September 24th,Tuesday December 17th

Application forms for both these grants must be received at least two weeks before the relevant meeting date, sent to janetevery@churchinwales.org.uk

LMA Grant

An amount of up to £3,000 per application will be considered, subject to certain criteria, available on the diocesan website or from the diocesan office.

Dates for Grant Committee mtgs: Wednesday January 10th, Tuesday April 23rd, Tuesday September 24th, Tuesday November 5th

Applications for LMA Grants should be received no later than two weeks prior to the next Grant Committee Meeting and sent to the Diocesan Office via post or diocese.stdavids@churchinwales.org.uk
