Diocese

‘Diocese’ refers to the geographical territory in which a bishop exercises oversight. The Church in Wales is divided into six dioceses each with its own cathedral in which is housed the cathedra (the bishop’s ‘chair’ or ‘throne’).

Eco-Church

Eco Church is an award scheme for churches in England and Wales run by the Christian environmental charity A Rocha. It is free to take part and one of the best ways your church community can show care for our common home and that the gospel is good news for God’s earth.
