BibleSocietyLogoBible Society

It was the demand for Welsh language Bibles that initially inspired the founders of the British & Foreign Bible Society (BFBS). The vision was soon widened and the Society was established in 1804. Bible Society makes the Scriptures available where there are none. It works to help the church engage with the Bible more effectively and endeavours – through the arts, education, media and politics – to promote the Bible’s availability, accessibility and credibility.
