Small Footprints on our Hearts: Loved & Lost Baby Remembrance Service
Sat 31 March, 12.00 pmFree
A baby changes lives. It doesn’t matter if that small person has never drawn breath, or has lived only a short time, for the people who are left, things are never the same again.
Parents who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby are invited to attend the annual ‘Loved and Lost Baby service’ when collectively through music, words, silences and reflection and in the release of balloons we confirm just how precious and irreplaceable each baby is and how they will always be a part of the lives of those who loved them.
The event is being held at the Quiet Room/Chapel, Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen, SA31 2AF on Saturday 31st March, 2018 at 12 noon.
The service is designed for people of all faiths and none, and is a time dedicated for reflection and hope. It also offers a time of peace for our staff who provide support for those who have experienced the loss of a baby. Losses may be recent or have happened many years ago and the service provides a safe and open place to acknowledge and remember ‘precious’ children.
Staff will offer refreshments and use the opportunity to meet and chat with those who have attended.
If you are unable to attend and wish to have a memory card placed on the tree please advise Euryl
